What is a Lady in Waiting?

In the past a Lady in Waiting was a noble woman that was of lower rank than the Lady she attended. She helped the Lady with many tasks and was often a close friend.

Today we offer a unique service that addresses the needs of the bride on her wedding day.

The bride often is helped by her maids and friends but they are getting ready too and often the bride does not get the attention she needs and deserves on her special day.

When you hire a Lady in Waiting you will get that special service that every Pampered Bride wants.

Tips for before the wedding...

We suggest you practice wearing your wedding shoes before the big day.

We bring a small emergency bag for your dressing area: iron, needle and thread, hair spray, hair pins, spot cleaner, static spray, clear nail polish, safety pins, etc.

If you have other items you will need we suggest you make up the bag and give it to us and we will bring it to the getting ready room. Some items to bring will be an extra pair of panty hose and any pain medication like aspirin etc.

If you would like us to go with you for the hair and makeup test run we can do that too. We love to be involved and it helps us judge how much time you will need to run on schedule.

Slipping away to take photos after the ceremony...

It's the day you have dreamed of since you we're a little girl.

Remember to slip away from your family and guests with your new husband even if it's just for a few minutes. Take pictures with the sunset or some romantic ones just of the two of you.

This can be arranged with the photographer ahead of time and we will come along to make sure your hair and makeup are perfect.
